Confluence

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia’s capital, can be translated as ‘Muddy Confluence’. Situated on the junction of the Gombak and Klang rivers, the geographical confluence is mirrored in the ethnic diversity of the metropolis. With three major ethnic groups (Malay, Chinese and Indian) and a smattering of other minorities, a walk through Kuala Lumpur is a diverse and engrossing experience. I spent 72 hours wandering the streets of Kuala Lumpur – this is what I saw.
